CUBA MAY 2017-MY TRAVEL DIARIES

Hi everyone, 

On the 18th May we travel to Cuba for 2 weeks, more specific to Varadero. Its a peninsula and its in the region of Matanzas. 

Varadero its a touristic area and its full of hotels and resorts. we stayed at Grand memories Varadero. The pool area was amazing and the beach spectacular, but Finley didn't want to touch the sand at all so we spend most of the days at the pool, I didnt mind .

On the first week we travel to La Habana for a day tour. It took us 2,5 hrs to reach there. We passed Matanzas city and lost of woods and wild animals and birds. We had a great guide on the day and he explained everything very well. It was a very hot day like most of the days and the trip was a bit more difficult because we travel with a 2,5 years old toddler. we took an iPad with us, snacks and toys to entertain him during the bus ride.

La Habana is a very impressive city, you see the new buildings and very old buildings next to each other. There is lots of tourist everywhere,including us, taking pictures and videos. So here you have a few of the pictures that we took.

Oversize Denim Jacket - chaqueta vaquera oversize

 

 

 

This weekend I decided to take some pictures to show you guys my new jacket. A trend that its been on for long time, an oversize denim jacket.

I chose to wear it with a black jumpsuit from Primark,I bought it around march for my holidays in Benidorm and I thought that due to  material I wont be wearing it that much but I was wrong, every time I don't know what to wear I find myself looking for it. 

People asked me sometimes where I buy my clothes and they are surprise when I said Primark, H&M,... I think they may be surprised due to I am a plus size and I still manage to find some cool stuff. Anyway we will leave that subject for another blog.

Who doesnt like pizza......

Hi everyone,

Yesterday i cooked for first time a pizza from the scratch, i cooked cauliflower dough pizza. Yes, you are reading right cauliflower and it was amazing.

                   

Im not big fan of cauliflower but this recipe is really good and EASY.

I started by grating the cauliflower in a blender,200 grs,  we dont want a very mashy texture just like rice granes. once you done it put it in the microwe for about 5-6 min until is soft. 

Then take it out leave to cool for 2 min and remove all the water with a clean cloth. This step is very important, if you dont remove all the water you wont achieve a nice dough.

Then imprepare ;

mozarella 60 grs

2 tablespoon of parmesano

1 tablespoon of chilli flakes

1 large egg 

Salt and pepper

                                 

I used a big bowl to mixed all together and you finish with a "dough".

                                 

I know it looks so apetizing right now...... Anyway, spread the dough in a greaseproof paper and stick it to the oven at 200*c for 15-20 min until is golden brown.

                                 

                                  This is what you achieve.

Turn it around and you the other side to put your toppings on. 

I add some tomato sauce, fresh tomatoes, mozzarela and bacon. You can add anything you like.

                                  

Put the pizza in the oven for about 15 min more to finish cooking and this is the final product.

                    

It looks like a normal pizza, isnt it? I tasted it and it was lovely. 

Have a go and let me know what do you think, it takes around 15 min to prepare everything and 30 min to cook, is not that much....

90's LIPS / RIMMEL'S LIP LINERS

I have been looking for a nude lipstick for a while, and i finally found some shades that i like but actually they are no lipstick, they are lips liners. I saw in lily melrose blog this lip liners and i though i will give it a go. 

I purchased 2 exaggerate automatic lip liner and 1 lip pencil. 

The first one im wearing is a EXAGGERATE LIP LINER called EASTEND SNOB, The second one is called ADDICTION and the third one is LIP PENCIL called SPICE.

The one i like the most and i found the easiest to apply is EASTEND SNOB, due to the color is a bit more pinky than the other ones but i like SPICE as well because i think its more 90's looking.

The price of the lip liner is £3.99, very affordable. i have to say that since i bought them i used them everyday, becasue they are easy to apply and they last long in your lips so you dont need to be worried to apply again and again.
